Vigilantes

My home has been trashed by vigilantes. Kestrella took me back to my squat. They’d broken in while I was out, trashed everything, including my computers and gear. Smeared shit and slogans on the walls, broken the windows.

“Hybrids out, hybrids out!” was the slogan. And worse. You can imagine it.

When we got outside they were still there. They went for us. With knives and crowbars.

Luckily Kestrella is a rich chick — her minder (she’s a Blue, not a Grey like me) drove us away in his armoured car just in time.

Change. I told you it wasn’t my friend.
